In the past 4 months, I have been very busy training for Ironman races. Those are the tiring months with lots of sacrifices on my sleep. The outcomes are a fitter body and healthier lifestyles. We certainly don’t need each diver to train as hard as an Ironman but any program of regular cardiovascular and strength training will definitely make you a better diver.
We all know that physical activity is important to good health on the surface but research shows that our fitness also impacts our excursions underwater. Whether you consider yourself to be a recreational or a technical diver, or even if you are just thinking about getting certified. With a better stamina, you will dive longer by having better air control. You will dive safer with lesser risk to DCS.
With a leaner body mass, you will need less weight underwater. Less weight means more comfortable on your weight belt, less air to be inflated into your BCD and having more control underwater with a more streamline position. So lets hit the gym or swimming pool regularly if you want to be a better diver.

Feedback is a gift, everyone deserves it. I'm proud to mention that I can be the one and the only one Instructor whom ask diving student to fill-up the evaluation form. I always believed me myself take ownership of my own self development.
# I open to new ideas and supports change initiatives
# I'm aware of my own weakness and strength
# And most of all, I will take any good or bad feedback objectively and positively
Thank you for your time to write the feedback (comments), it's a very precious gift to me.
Please feedback on my teaching style, information on my blog and other diving related stuff. No comment on the web design layout yah. I'm just a amateur on blog :-D
