Scuba diving is always done with a partner or a buddy. This relationship provides the opportunity for divers to put into practice the four character of developments:-
- values of caring
- honesty
- respect
- responsibility
Buddy divers must rely on each other for buddy check equipment (BWRAF) thoroughly prior to diving, watch for dangers during the dive and help out each other in case of emergencies. Where else after the dive, buddy team can always share stories and laughter about the dive. Even when pre-planning for a dive excursion, buddy involvement is crucial for the success of the trip.
My point is ….. in diving sports, buddy system is very important. It will be an added bonus if your buddy is your live partner too.
